ABC Chair Kim Williams AM delivered the 2024 John Monash Oration on truth, trust and knowledge in the media in an evening hosted by the Commonwealth Bank. Zelie Heger, 2010 John Monash Scholar, gave the response.
On the 11 – 13th December 2023, 112 John Monash Scholars came from around the globe and to attend the Foundation’s 5th Global Symposium hosted by the St John's College.

On Wednesday the 16th of February, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd), Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia and the Foundation’s Patron-in-Chief, presented 16 of our 2022 John Monash Scholars with their Scholarship Certificates.

Following the discussions of our 2019 Symposium, our 2021 Public Lecture will demonstrate the positive results that can arise from interdisciplinarity and creative thinking in response to change. Never before have Change, Adaptation and Sustainability been more important in exploring solutions to challenges and the COVID-19 pandemic is but one example.

The Presentation Ceremony was held at the Shrine of Remembrance in Melbourne on 25 February 2019. In an event that welcomed 150 guests including Foundation supporters, friends, Scholar alumni and family, the 2019 John Monash Scholars were formally presented with their John Monash Scholarship certificates by His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia.
The UK-based John Monash Scholars held their Annual London Dinner at Australia House on 14th February, a highlight of the Scholars calendar to help unite the many John Monash Scholars located around the United Kingdom and parts of Europe.
