Chairman's Circle
Transforming Australia through Inspired Leadership
Our mission is to encourage the academic excellence of our nation’s brightest individuals and to foster the growth of their leadership qualities for the benefit of Australia’s future.
Fruitful partnerships are behind our success and are crucial to fulfilling the Foundation’s mission. There are many ways that businesses in Australia can join our nation building mission, and play a vital role in helping the Foundation to support outstanding the development and ongoing success of leaders and researchers in Australia.
We invite you to join us and help grow a talent bank for Australia.
The Chairman's Circle
Chairman’s Circle Members are a group of generous philanthropists committed to providing life-changing education opportunities for talented students and collectively contributing to a positive future for our nation. The Chairman’s Circle supports the award of one or two John Monash Scholars each year to undertake postgraduate study at a leading institution overseas. Chairman’s Circle Members include University Chancellors, business and community leaders.
Benefits of Membership
Chairman’s Circle Members are invited to all signature events of the General Sir John Monash Foundation, including the Scholarship Presentation Ceremony hosted by the Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia and the John Monash Oration hosted annually by the Commonwealth Bank. The Foundation’s Chairman Jillian Segal AO and Foundation Directors host Chairman’s Circle events during the year where members can meet the Scholars they support, as well as other John Monash Scholars.
Becoming a Chairman's Circle member
To become a member of the Chairman’s Circle, you commit to making an annual contribution of $10,000* for five years.
