Leadership in Science: How it Impacts Jobs of the Future, Innovation & Energy Security in Australia

On Monday the 28th of August, the annual John Monash Oration took place at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia’s Colonial Theatre in Sydney. The event featured a keynote speech by Australia’s Chief Scientist, Dr Alan Finkel AO. John Monash Scholar (2004) Lara Olsen, gave a response.

The topic of this year’s Oration was leadership in Science: how is impacts jobs of the future, innovation and energy security in Australia. Both Dr Finkel’s and Ms. Olsen’s speeches were highly anticipated, and did not disappoint!
