The General Sir John Monash Foundation is proud to announce the presentation of the 2024 Scholarships at a prestigious ceremony at Government House in Canberra. This event marks the culmination of an exhaustive selection process that concluded at the end of last year. Sixteen outstanding Australians are being supported to study overseas in a broad range of fields including medicine, health, the arts, engineering, business, law, mathematics, science and Indigenous affairs.

The 2024 John Monash Scholars have visited the Australian War Memorial in Canberra today as part of their three-day Scholarship induction program. The group was greeted by Australian War Memorial Director Matt Anderson PSM who spoke with Scholars, reflecting on the significance of General Sir John Monash as an Australian military leader. Monash was one of the principal organisers of ANZAC Day and an advocate for Melbourne’s Shrine of Remembrance.
