What does it mean to be John Monash Scholar?

The Foundation announced our 2018 John Monash Scholars on the 30th of November, 2017 at the Sydney Opera House. When past Scholars, friends and supporters of the Foundation gather to formally acknowledge and congratulate  a new group of Scholars, their achievements and talents never cease to amaze. However, talents and achievements aside, what is it that makes these individuals John Monash Scholars? Our Foundation invests in future leaders with a clear vision for using their work for the benefit of Australian society. It is this distinct vision, drive and capacity for leadership that truly makes them a John Monash Scholar.
