On July 10, UK-based John Monash Scholars Ahmad Shah Idil, Dr Sam Wills and Catherine Richards, attended the relaunch of Advance UK at the invitation of the Hon Jeannie Lopes, Advance UK Ambassador. The event was hosted by Sir Michael Hintze GCSG AM at his CQS offices, overlooking stunning views of Trafalgar Square. Our Scholars received a warm welcome from Yasmin Allen, Chairman of Advance and His Excellency the Hon George Brandis QC and enjoyed meeting with other high-profile Australians and distinguished guests.
Advance represents the largest network of influential and globally minded Australians and works to provide connections, advice, ideas and support to help fulfil their potential. This event highlighted the important role Advance plays in connecting Australia’s expat community to one another and to Australia.
The General Sir John Monash Foundation values our friendship with Advance and we look forward to close collaboration going forward.
