General Sir John Monash Foundation Annual Report 2023-24: Delivering for Australia

Today, the Foundation released its Annual Report 2023-24, marking twenty years of awarding scholarships to talented and promising Australians to further their knowledge and networks overseas.
In 2024 the John Monash Scholarship program has a community of 264 Scholars with best-practice knowledge in a broad range of critical disciplines who form a talent bank for the nation.

FY 2023-24 was the year in which the John Monash Foundation Leadership Academy came to life with major initiatives such as the John Monash Leadership Series and the Fifth Global Symposium for Scholars.
This would not be possible without the support and guidance of an exceptional board of leading Australians and the generosity of many friends and supporters, from government, the corporate sector, trusts and foundations, and individuals.
This year the Foundation warmly welcomed support from the Queensland and Western Australian governments, both of which committed to providing a perpetual John Monash Scholarship, ensuring that scholars from those states will be assured of a winning a scholarship every year.
New corporate supporters Greenhill Australia and Jet Couriers Australia joined the Foundation and the Australian Universities’ Consortium grew with the addition of the University of Notre Dame.
Looking ahead to next year, the Foundation has ambitious plans to grow the Leadership Academy and deliver greater impact for Australia by responding to needs within Australian society for highly skilled leaders who can contribute economic and social value.
