2015 ANZAC Centenary John Monash Scholar Dr Phoebe Williams awarded $566K NHMRC grant
The Foundation is proud to congratulate John Monash Scholar Dr Phoebe Williams who was awarded an Investigator Grant from the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC). She is one of three John Monash Scholars to receive a grant in this year’s round. These highly competitive grants are awarded to world-leading health and medical research projects improving the lives of all Australians. Phoebe will be establishing a new treatment regimen for neonatal sepsis in Australia and the local South East Asian region.

With Owen's expertise in genetic illnesses they have developed targeted personalised treatments to improve the quality of life for Karla, a four-year-old girl with a severely painful, rare immune disorder.
