Origin Foundation celebrates 10 years featuring 2013 John Monash Scholar Chris Lowe
Our long-term partner, the Origin Energy Foundation, celebrates 10 years in philanthropy this year. To mark this milestone, they have created a series of education success stories which are being used to inspire the next generation of children. But there’s a twist – the kids are in charge of the questions! Chris Lowe, our 2013 Origin Energy Foundation John Monash Scholar stars in their latest story and reveals how a boy from a small Tasmanian town fulfilled a lifelong dream of ‘going’ to space. Curious?

Update on Selection of the 2021 John Monash Scholars
The Foundation is now underway with first round panel interviews of candidates for the 2021 John Monash Scholars. While we are disappointed that all interviews will have to be virtual this year we felt it was important that all candidates have the same platform for interview. In some States the panels will be able to meet themselves for the interviews and in others the panel members are also on screen. Having completed our first two panels (Tasmania and the first Victorian panel) we are very happy with the success of the virtual format. The robustness and engaging conversation with candidate was not diminished despite not being face to face and we are as always inspired by the wonderful candidates we are meeting. We look forward to sharing with you in due course the outcomes of this years interviews following the national panels in October.
