End of Year Message from
Foundation CEO Annemarie Rolls
Dear Friends and Scholars,
Without doubt we are all very ready to close the door on 2020, although despite the extraordinary challenges of these past many months, we are grateful to have managed to navigate through it to a positive close. We successfully converted all our interview panels for the 2021 cohort to the virtual format and are thrilled with the wonderful new cohort of 13 John Monash Scholars for 2021. It was an incredibly strong field of candidates and so difficult to make the final decisions. I hope you will have had the opportunity to check out the new Scholars. Thankfully everyone has come through the year safely although our hearts go out to those who did get sick and are still working on recovery. As you will have read in this bulletin over the past months, John Monash Scholars continue to excel and inspire in so many ways and make us very proud. There are many Scholars not necessarily featured in a news bulletin who are, persevering with their research and projects and doing brilliantly, despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Hats off to you all. Stay well and strong everyone. I hope you all enjoy a restful holiday season with a good dose of frivolity and all the very best for a positive and healthy 2021.
Warm Wishes,
The Foundation office will be closed from 19th December 2020 to 10th January 2021. We will respond to all emails received during this period after our return to office. For emergencies please call 03 96202428.
