2005 John Monash Scholar Dr Matthew Baker awarded $1.8m HFSP Research Grant
2005 Scholar and UNSW Scientia Senior Lecturer Dr Matthew Baker was awarded a 2021 Human Frontier Science Program (HSFP) Research Grant - Early Career. The research grants are awarded to new approaches for understanding the complex structures and regulatory networks of living organisms, their evolution and interactions. Matthew will share this grant with Dr Nick Matzke from Auckland University, Professor Betül Kaçar from the University of Arizona and Dr Luke McNally from Edinburgh University. Matthew's research aims to experimentally recreate the emergence of bacterial motility and measure the evolutionary constraints which govern gain of function.
2021 Bob Hawke John Monash Scholar Alice Crawford shares her story for ANU
2021 Scholar Alice Crawford has been featured in the Australian National University Law School's news page. Alice will be studying a Master of Public Administration at Harvard University supported by the John Monash Scholarship.
2007 John Monash Scholar Dr Gemma Sharp awarded 2020 Early Career Alumni Award by Flinders University
2007 Scholar and mental health researcher Dr Gemma Sharp was awarded the 2020 Early Career Alumni Award by Flinders University. Gemma's research in psychological sciences and mental health focusing on body image advocacy has won her numerous awards and prizes.
