2017 Australian Cultural John Monash Scholar Shevaun Wright receives Highly Commended award in 2020 John Fries Award for emerging artists
2017 Scholar and artist Shevaun Wright has received the Highly Commended Award in the 2020 John Fries Award for emerging artists. Shevaun was shortlisted with six other finalists and presented a newly commissioned work developed with the support of curator Miriam Kelly. The award recognises early-career artists from Australia and New Zealand and finalists are exhibited at the UNSW galleries.
