With support of major national law firm Mills Oakley, Everyday Justice has launched with 2018 Scholar Amy Burton as Managing Lawyer. This free legal service aims to provide legal aid to the ‘missing middle’ - those that are ineligible for means-tested Legal Aid services but are unable to afford a private lawyer.

2006 Scholar Associate Professor Sally Thompson is the lead researcher for the Australian Critical Zone Observatory Network in University of Western Australia, which has been awarded $1,205,137 in funding by Australian Research Council’s Linkage Infrastructure, Equipment and Facilities scheme. The research project aims to improve sustainability of food, clean water, mineral resources and ecosystems.
