2018 Roth/Segal John Monash Harvard Scholar Ryan Carters plays cricket with the Governor-General for Batting for Change
2018 Scholar Ryan Carters joined His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd), Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, to celebrate the end of the National Backyard Cricket Day campaign. The campaign was run by Batting for Change to raise money to improve education in cricket-playing developing countries as well as libraries in rural areas of Australia. Ryan founded Batting for Change in 2013 and has since raised more than $1 million to support their cause.

Australian Cultural John Monash Scholars Fernando do Campo (2014) and Shevaun Wright (2018) have joined a select group of artists for the exhibition 'The Lock Up', which focuses on challenging notions of our perceived safety and the subjectivity, privilege and hidden cost that comes with it.
2005 John Monash Scholar, Katherine Daniell promoted to Professor, moves to 3A Institute to set up new School of Cybernetics
2005 Scholar, Katherine Daniell has been promoted to Professor at the Australian National University (ANU). She will be ending her term as Associate Dean (Education) for the College of Engineering and Computer Science at ANU and moving to 3A Institute to teach and set up their new School of Cybernetics.
The 3Ai's Master of Applied Cybernetics is the world’s first graduate program focusing on the challenges of ensuring Ai-enabled cyber-physical systems are safe, sustainable and responsible. Katherine will also be involved in the development of the ANU Institute for Water Futures, launched in late 2020.
2006 John Monash Scholar Associate Professor Kate Manne to give talk at Cornell University on male entitlement
2006 Scholar Professor Kate Manne is an Associate Professor at the Sage School of Philosophy in the College of Arts and Sciences and will deliver a talk on male entitlement for the Society for the Humanities Annual Invitational Lecture. The annual lecture series was designed to give Cornell audiences the opportunity to hear distinguished faculty members.
