Bridget is a journalist based between Washington DC and Australia. She writes about business and the environment. Currently, Bridget covers pension funds for the Financial Times’ FundFire publication. Previously, she worked with a team of reporters from Columbia Journalism Investigations on a story about how climate change is killing Americans, published by the Center for Public Integrity and The Guardian. Her work was supported by a grant from the Fund for Investigative Journalism. Bridget has also worked as a freelance investigative reporter and researcher for The New York Times, where she wrote about the consulting firm McKinsey and Company's secretive $12.3 billion dollar hedge fund and contributed reporting to stories on McKinsey's illegal contract in South Africa and entanglement in a bribery case against a Ukrainian oligarch. She provided research for a story about McKinsey’s role in raising the stature of authoritarian governments. Bridget has an M.S. in Journalism from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts with First Class Honours in Asian Studies from the University of Tasmania.
