Catherine is an international lawyer committed to using international law to protect important rights and values. She represents clients before international courts and tribunals, including the International Court of Justice, the European Court of Human Rights, the International Criminal Court, the United Nations Human Rights Committee and international arbitration tribunals. Catherine also teaches public international law at the University of Cambridge. She is a former Australian high jump champion and was nominated for Australian of the Year in 2012. With her John Monash Scholarship Catherine completed a Masters of Law (Public International Law) at the University of Cambridge where she was the Whewell Scholar in International Law, and holds a Bachelors of Laws/Arts from the University of Queensland. She was admitted as a Barrister in England and Wales. Catherine also completed a PhD at the University of Cambridge that focused on breaches of international law. She is currently a barrister at 3 Verulam Buildings (3VB), London.
