Will is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Maryland. With his Commonwealth Bank John Monash Scholarship Will undertook a PhD in Economics at New York University. He also holds a Bachelor of Economics with First Class Honours, a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Economics from the Australian National University. He has a special interest in macroeconomic policy and has worked for the OECD Chief Economist conducting research on global economic challenges and policy recommendations for the G20. He was previously an economic policy adviser in the Australian Government Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, including for Australia's G20 Presidency in 2014. Will is passionate about improving Australian and international economic policy.
