Chloe D’Souza, 2020 Bob Hawke John Monash Scholar, has graduated with a Master of Laws from Harvard University. Chloe is a proud Wilman Noongar woman who grew up in Perth. She was the first Aboriginal person to graduate from Curtin University’s Law School in 2015 and holds a Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours following which she was admitted to the Supreme Court of WA as a Lawyer in 2017. Chloe’s interest is in the intersection of law and policy relating to reform targeted at improving the social and economic outcomes of Indigenous Australians.
Alli Devlin, 2020 Commonwealth Bank John Monash Scholar, is currently presenting her research at the eceee summer study in France. Alli is currently at the University of Oxford studying for a DPhil in Engineering Science, applying computational modelling techniques to the emerging field of steel decarbonisation. Her research combines spatially explicit supply chain analysis with systems engineering approaches, including simulation and optimisation modelling, to investigate technological solutions to the challenge of industrial change at scale.

Dr Xin Zhang, 2022 Susan and Isaac Wakil John Monash scholar, is a doctor and researcher specialising in Cognitive Neurology. Her expertise is in providing individualised, holistic healthcare for people with dementia and has embarked on her PhD in Neurology at University College London with the support of her John Monash Scholarship. Rebecca Keeley awarded inaugural Ivan Shearer Scholarship
Congratulations to Rebecca Keeley, 2022 Tim Fischer John Monash Scholar, who has been awarded the inaugural Ivan Shearer Scholarship. The Ivan Shearer Scholarship is made possible by a generous bequest by the late Professor Ivan Shearer AM RFD (1938-2019), a distinguished international lawyer who was Dean of St Mark’s in 1968-71 and an Honorary Fellow of the College from 2005. Rebecca’s profile will appear in coming months on the College website here as part of the series of “40 St Mark’s women” to mark the 40th anniversary of coeducation at the College.
